Continuing the repair work at the EVRAZ NTMK facility

Commencing in 2023 until present time, OKOS carries on the repair work on coke oven batteries at Coke Oven Plant of EVRAZ NTMK in Nizhny Tagil.
This April, OKOS team started a through-wall rebuilding of COB 9 heating walls, this activity also covering a partial repair of the corbel area and the regenerators.

Background of the COB:
Coke oven battery No.9 is of GIPROKOKS design, with twin vertical flues, waste heat recirculation and underfiring using CO gas; coking chamber volume is 41.3 m3. The COB’s annual output capacity is 970 thousand tons of coke (gross). The battery consists of 71 Nos. 7-meter high ovens. The facility was commissioned in 1986.
