The Iron and Steel industry implies harsh environment working conditions involving heavy workload and significant risk to health and safety of workers. Exposure to chemical substances and technological processes, dust and gas emissions, and other hazards tend to harm health of the personnel. Occupational safety and health are a priority for our activity. Safety as the company's philosophy is an integral part of our OKOS brand name.
Higher executives of OKOS pay a special attention to the matters of employees occupational safety and health. Managerial staff work in spacious and well illuminated rooms. The offices are equipped with up-to-date machines and facilities thus ensuring all necessary conditions for the officers to perform their job duties.
Our offsite teams specialists deputed to work on customer facilities, possess all necessary knowledge of safety rules for Iron and Steel production facilities and coke-making plants. All OKOS employees are covered by company insurance while travelling and working abroad on company’s business.The company has developed a policy of maintaining and following up all labour protection requirements aimed at accident prevention and minimizing the risk of occupational disease.

- improving operational standards and practices and enhancing professional level of employees in occupational safety and health.
